Introduction
WELCOME TO YOUR CORE CONNECT PELVIC FLOOR AUDIO PACK FOR ANAL SPHINCTER INJURIES
If you are here, I suppose you have been diagnosed with an injury to your external anal sphincter, the circle-like muscle around your anus.
Anal sphincter injuries can happen during vaginal births, most notably during vaginal operative deliveries. They can also be a consequence of sexual abuse. Because it is not uncommon for them to come with some form of trauma to the body and / or mind, deep breathing techniques, meditative practices and trauma-processing therapies can not only provide mental relief in such cases, they can also contribute to restoring normal tone and function in the muscle.
This pack comprises releasing techniques, strengthening exercises, and healthy moves for the area. Trauma or not, anal sphincter injuries often lead to abnormal muscle tone, which must be addressed prior strengthening.
Start the pack ideally on the day following the last day of your period.
If you are postpartum and have not had your period yet, or if you are post-menopausal, you can start now!
I hope you notice some improvement promptly.
Don’t forget: Do not push for number two as this could negatively affect your recovery. I encourage you to use relaxation techniques, J-breath, and make any dietary changes that may prove helpful instead.
Warmly,
Marianne
